Profile: Wendy Clark

Wendy Clark - AIPP CPP Professional PhotographerI discovered the joy of photography at an early age, after struggling to draw or paint what I saw, and not being able to do it to my satisfaction.
Photography – painting with light – enabled me to record those images I saw with fidelity and in time with artistic flair.

I became a Professional Photographer in 1986, photographing children, pets, families, weddings and business photos for websites. I have produced many beautiful and memorable images over the years and have many very happy clients that will have portraits to hand down to their children for generations to come.

Recently I realised the joy of teaching. I have so much knowledge and experience to pass on to people. I love watching my students’ faces when the knowledge clicks in – their faces light up and they are very excited.

People not only come from Blackburn but from all over Melbourne to attend my classes. From as far away as Essondon and the Dandenongs as well as places like Doncaster, Templestowe, Mount Waverley, Glen Waverley, Burwood, Hawthorn, Camberwell, Kew, Vermont, Forest Hill, Balwyn, Mitchum and more. As many of my trips are out of Melbourne, it can attract people from regional areas too.

I am fortunate to also be able to combine my interest and knowledge of Wildlife and Nature, as many people wish to learn how to photograph creatures, flowers and the enironment too.

A Wonderful Life
When a hobby becomes a passion and the passion becomes your work, it makes your working life really enjoyable. Add to that, meeting many wonderful and interesting people as well as going to many fascinating locations, then I can truly say, I have a wonderful life.
